You may have noticed that mainstream NFTs look strikingly similar to one another. This phenomenon is due to the usage of layering and generative coding. Layering is the process of generating a set of images from a list of visual elements. NFT в киберпространстве — это важная часть блокчейн-экономики, они позволяют сделать удобнее взаимодействие с любым товаром, владение, покупку, продажу, подтверждение оригинальности и т.д. Но также они позволяют людям извлекать вполне реальную прибыль. По последним данным новостной статьи с DappRadar, объём продаж NFT в 2021 году составил $24,9 млрд. При этом в 2020 году он составил всего $100 млн, а, следовательно, наблюдается рост более чем в 220 раз. И возможные темпы роста только набирают обороты. Что касается рыночной капитализации 100 крупнейших выпущенных NFT, она превышает $16.7 млрд.
Согласно данным аналитической компании Chainalysis, за все время суммарный объём сделок на NFT-рынке составил не менее $26.9 млрд. Аналитики также отмечают одновременный рост общего объема сделок и их средней стоимости.

CryptoPunks — одна из первых в истории NFT-коллекций. Состоит из 10 тыс. экземпляров. Продана за 4,2 тыс. эфиров, что было на тот момент равно $7,57 млн.

Популярность и развитие NFT получило с выходом игры CryptoKitties, в которой игроки могли разводить разных виртуальных кошек и котов, а суммы, за которые можно продать — превышали $100 тысяч.

Технологию NFT создали в 2017 году на основе смарт-контрактов Ethereum.

Первым произведением искусства, превращённым в NFT-токен, стала чёрно-белая работа художника Бэнкси — трафарет 2007 года под названием Morons (White). Блокчейн-компания Injective Protocol купила её, сожгла и создала NFT-токен — виртуальный актив, привязанный к «цифровому образу предмета искусства».

Первым музыкантом, который превратил в токен собственный альбом, стал диджей 3LAU. Он продал альбом ограниченным тиражом и заработал $11,6 млн.

Певица Граймс, известная как мать ребёнка Илона Маска, продала 400 NFT-токенов, которые были привязаны к четырём рисункам, созданным лично ей и её братом. Всего за 20 минут продажа токенов принесла Граймс $5,8 млн.

В целом для творческих людей NFT — это способ монетизировать свои умения и расширить аудиторию. Из-за отсутствия трудностей с логистикой продавать произведения искусства в цифре проще, чем в офлайне.

В виде невзаимозаменяемых токенов продают не только произведения искусства. Даже у популярного мема может появиться новый владелец. Гифку Nyan Cat, на которой кот несётся по космосу и оставляет за собой шлейф из радуги, продали на аукционе за $590 000.
