Similar to Dapper Labs’ NBA Top Shots, MotoGP Ignition Hot Shots are a collection of exciting moments taken from real world MotoGP events and minted as NFTs,So, what can buyers expect?To start the series, Animoca Brands will be selling off 6,000 packs (each containing 3 unique NFTs from the MotoGP 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar). Each pack contains three Hot Shots NFTs of varying rarity and bearing a serial/print number. Payment will be by credit card only and packs priced at $15. While the sale itself kicks off on the 28th of September, those interested should register now on the MotoGP website here. Registrations close on the 20th, so be quick!

Animoca Brands announced the release of MotoGP Ignition Hot Shots, an NFT collection representing exciting moments from MotoGP race events. Interested collectors need to pre-register, and the sale itself will commence on September 28th.

While gamers might still be waiting for the MotoGP Ignition race management game, the NFT collecting side of the project is in full force. After two sales events in the past few months, Hot Shots will be the first one highlighting actual moments from the official races. The first Hot Shots feature moments from the MotoGP 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar.

Collectors need to register between September 15th and 20th on the official website. There will only be a total of 6,000 Hot Shots packs available for $15 per pack. In each pack collectors can find 3 Hot Shots NFTs with different rarities and each unique by their serial number.

Those who register can buy the NFTs on September 28th. Animoca will divide the sale in three segments: each offering 2,000 packs, and each going live during a time favorable for a different time zone. Buyers should book their preferred time during the sign-up period. In addition it’s useful to know that they only accept credit card payments.

NFT collectors can soon use their MotoGP Ignition collectibles in a play-to-earn game mode. MotoGP Ignition: Card Champions is a fantasy sports game mode, allowing players to earn NFTs, REVV tokens and other prizes. There will be different events, ranging from a duration of 3 days up to 18 days.

All gamers need to play and compete in Card Champions is two NFTs from the MotoGP Ignition collection. This would include the Hot Shots series, that’s for sale right now. Players will be able to access to game mode through the official MotoGP Ignition website.

Like in any fantasy sports game, the performance of a collectible NFT card is connected to the performance of the real athletes. A player needs to commit at least two cards to the Card Champions game mode, and they need to pay a REVV fee to participate. All cards can be used, but using a Bike and a Rider card will earn players the most points.

• Bike – 100% pf the points
• Rider – 100% of the points
• Team – 80% of the points
• Video – 60% of the points

Within these different types of NFTs, there are also different ways the cards synergize. This will impact the point rating as well. For example, Rider A and Biker A gives a 200% point rate, while Team D and Hot Shot D only give 140%. Having the highest point rate doesn’t automatically mean you will also win.

MotoGP™ Ignition first sale of Hot Shots NFT racing moments

Hot Shots are unique collectible non-fungible tokens (NFTs) distilled from the highlight reels of the best MotoGP™ racing moments. The first Hot Shots to be made available feature the most exciting moments from the MotoGP™ 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar.

A total of 6,000 Hot Shot packs will be available for purchase at US$15 per pack. Each pack contains three Hot Shots NFTs of varying rarity and bearing a serial/print number. Payment by credit card is accepted.

The sale will start on 28 September 2021, and it will be divided into 3 segments; each segment will offer 2,000 packs for sale at specific time ranges, allowing people in different time zones more flexibility to participate in the buying process. Participants should book their preferred times during the sign-up period between 15 September and 20 September 2021.

The first release of Hot Shots features the most exciting moments from the MotoGP™ 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar, and will go on sale starting on 28 September 2021.

The first two sales of MotoGP™ Ignition collectibles were launched earlier this year. Both met with overwhelming demand and quickly sold out. Due to the high demand and plentiful MotoGP™ fans all over the world, some players missed out during the first sales. In order to accommodate players around the world, we are introducing a new time segment booking system that allows you to focus on your time zone, to give you a chance to score yourself some Hot Shots!

Booking a time segment and the Hot Shots pack sale

A total of 6,000 Hot Shot NFT video packs are going on sale. Each pack features 3 Hot Shots from the MotoGP™ 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar, packs will be priced at US$15 each and can be purchased with credit card only. The sale will start on 28 September 2021, and it will be broken into 3 segments; each segment will be held at a different time range and will have 2,000 packs on sale, allowing people in different time zones more flexibility to participate. You can book yourself for up to 2 different sale segments during the sign-up period between 15 September 2021 at 8 a. (UTC) and 20 September 2021 at 8a. (UTC). After signing up you will be able to see your assigned time segments on the MotoGP™ Ignition website.

Hot Shot Prints

Like previous MotoGP™ Ignition collectibles, Hot Shots have a Print number that is relative to the Serial number of the pack. For this Hot Shots sale, the order of the pack Serials will be shuffled, and then divided across the three time segments. This means that lower-number Serials (and therefore, lower-number Prints) will be distributed randomly.

Hot Shots are a collection of video moments taken from highlight reels of official MotoGP™ events. This first sale will offer Hot Shots from the 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar!

This means that the luckiest pack you can open will contain a Rare, an Epic, and a Legendary video. There isn’t a fixed supply of videos based on rarity or on content. Like the packs themselves, the videos are NFTs and they can be sold and traded.

The time that you open your pack has no impact on the Hot Shots that it contains.

Hello Ignition fans! As we REVV up towards the launch of the MotoGP™ Ignition Market and Card Champions game, we wanted to give you an early taste of the Play-to-Earn experience coming to MotoGP™ Ignition!

Starting from 8th December 2021, we will be holding weekly collection events. Each week will have different collection requirements, with REVV rewards up for grabs — read on to find out more!

MotoGP™ Ignition Card Collection Games — How it works

Each week we will announce a set of MotoGP™ Ignition Cards to collect, including Team, Rider, Bike and Hot Shots. Players must obtain and hold these cards until we have announced the winners. There will only be 50 winners per-event and we will count the winners in a first come first served manner.

How to submit your collection

A new Discord #motogp-collectors channel has been created specifically to submit your wallet address once your collection is complete. You won’t be able to see the entries by other players in this channel; it’s specifically for the team to track the timestamps of the submissions. Once the weekly event is over we will announce the winners.

Full details will be released as we go on a weekly basis, but winners will be able to earn REVV. This will be distributed this month, when REVV is officially launched on Flow mainnet. We will airdrop all gifts directly to the wallet addresses provided in the submissions. You won’t be able to submit any other wallet address for the air drop.

NFT pack details for MotoGP Ignition Hot Shots

Each Hot Shots pack costs $15 (payment via credit card) and contains three Hot Shots collectable videos of any grade. Higher grades are rarer and therefore have lower drop rates. There are four rarities: common, rare, epic and legendary. The luckiest pack you can find contains one rare, an epic and a legendary NFT. The worst one would be two common and a rare.

Above you see the drop rates for each of the 3 Hot Shots NFTs in a pack. Chances are big that a pack will contain two common and a rare, making it the worst possible drop. However, a common and two rare also wouldn’t be outlandish.

There isn’t a fixed supply of videos based on rarity or on content. The time that you open your pack has no impact on the Hot Shots that it contains. However, those interested can keep their packs closed and will be able to trade their sealed packs.

What is Flow?

FLOW is the native currency for the Flow network, the exclusive token for staking, governance, payment of transaction fees, and the principal reserve asset on the network.

What are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)?

In MotoGP™ Ignition, NFTs consist of unique game assets that are used to participate in gameplay, where variations can boost the rewards gained from a race. There are Rider, Bike, Team, and Hot Shot (Highlight Reel) NFTs currently, in the form of collectable cards. These collectable cards NFTs are limited; only a set number of each will be created and made available to players. NFTs of higher rarities are drastically fewer in number, and as such, have higher value.

What are REVV, Fungible Tokens (FTs)?

REVV serves as the primary in-game Fungible Token (essentially a currency) and is used as the standard means of purchase in MotoGP™ Ignition. REVV is the primary reward for placing well in Events.

Once the MotoGP™ Ignition 22/23 season begins, there will be REVV entry fees for Events, and the rewards will be even greater.

How are NFTs and FTs different?

FTs are not unique, are generally available in a higher volume, and are similar in function to a digital currency. NFTs, on the other hand, are limited, and only a set number are created, with each NFT being unique — the opposite to each FT having the same value (i. 1 REVV always has the same value as another 1 REVV).

How do rarities work?

The rarity of an NFT depends on the class — Common, Rare or Legendary — and also changes the stats connected to the NFT. There can be as many as 30,000 of the same common NFT, or an item can be so rare as to be the only one of its kind attainable throughout a season.

Where can I view my NFTs?

In Pre-Season, you will view your NFTs in your linked Flow wallet.

Once the MotoGP™ Ignition 22/23 season begins, there will be a Boost page that will show you, for each rider/manufacturer, which of your NFTs can be used to Boost.

I don’t own any cryptocurrency. can I still play?

If you own a valid credit card, you will be able to make purchases of card packs, which will allow you to play in Pre-Season.

Once the MotoGP™ Ignition 22/23 season begins, then REVV will be required to playMotoGP™ Ignition. To find out how to get REVV, head over to REVV Motorsport for details.

Why can’t I make a purchase?

Currently, the Blocto wallet is the supported solution, meaning that to play you will need to create a Blocto account. This can be done via the MotoGP™ Ignition website, by simply clicking on ‘Connect Wallet’.

If you do not have a Blocto wallet set up upon clicking the ‘Connect Wallet’ button, you will be prompted to create the Blocto wallet from within the MotoGP™ Ignition website.
