Concept
Life in the Metaverse revolves around 3D Martians. There are 8 unique Martian species. Each race has its own characteristics and an essential role on Mars. However, as the owner, you can try to change this predetermined role (by various means) and thus reach a higher rank on the social ladder of Mars. Your goal may even be to attain a position in the Mars Colony Government.

Membership
By purchasing NFTs, you will become a member of an exclusive club – the Martian Colony. This membership will give you many advantages and financial benefits for your life on Mars. You can start your dream life here precisely the way you want to create it. As a community member, you will also be able to influence the further evolution of the project via DAO.
Life on Mars
You can buy apartments, land, real estate, and non-residential spaces on Mars and then sell or rent them. You can buy vehicles (hovercrafts, cars, motorcycles) to travel more easily between cities and within the ecosystem of the Martian Colony. You can open a shop on your own or in a rented space and sell anything you want there. You can run a restaurant or an art gallery or open your own office space – the possibilities are endless and it’s entirely up to you!

Benefits
As a member of the Martian Colony club, you will receive up to a 50% discount on prior purchases of apartments, land, and houses sold by the Martian Colony. All owners of Martian NFTs will be automatically placed on the whitelist for the apartment and land pre-sales. The first apartments will be sold in the city of Phobos, the capital of the Martian Colony, and the first plots of land will be sold in the areas surrounding the city.
Communication
In the Martian Colony, you can make friends, fight enemies, and find many types of extraterrestrial entertainment. Special night clubs and day clubs will allow you to discover and immerse yourself in the social life on Mars. You can opt for extreme adrenaline rides in Martian amusement parks or enjoy spectacular outdoor activities in Martian nature.

Gameplay
As a member of the Martian Colony club, you will be able to participate in various games which will allow you to move higher up on the social ladder if you win. Gameplay will be based on the MMORPG genre. For example, one of the games will be “Martian Battle,”- in which you will fight for a land parcel near the city of Phobos.
Marketplace
Martian Marketplace will also represent an integral part of the Metaverse. Here, you will be able to buy assets for your Martians and increase their strength, value, and status within the Martian Colony.

Hey Earthlings, do you have what it takes to join the Martian Colony?

Only 5,555 of these bad boys are up for grabs!
Metaverse, DAOs, IRL events, and more! The first destination for the Martian Colony will be the city of Phobos. Aside from strolling and exploring the city, they can start looking out for potential buildings and land plots to invest in. There is so much utility for the Martian Colony NFTs, including the many special bonuses along the extraterrestrial journey. And what is a Web3 project without a DAO? All participants will soon get to determine the future direction of the colony through the Martian Colony DAO establishment. As exciting as Mars sounds at the moment, life on Earth can still be as amazing. The founders will organize a 5-day trip to Prague, Czech Republic, where the community can come together IRL. Among the 5,555 lucky Martian Colony holders, 33 lucky ones will not need to pay a single dime. The team will cover all the expenses in The City of 100 Towers. This includes accommodation in a 5 star hotel in the center of the city, sightseeing around Prague, and a get-together with the founders in a fabulous restaurant. There will also be a half-day party on the boat down the river Vltava with live music and DJ performances!By the way, the team is still actively giving away WL spots, so remember to stay tuned to their socials to get yours! All investment/financial opinions expressed by NFTevening. com are not recommendations. Mars Colony, play-to-earn Meta for Mars and beyond.
Mars Colony, the idea behind this ecosystem
For centuries, land ownership rights were claimed by means of setting a foot on it.
In the ancient world, land was ruled by control of the people through force. Various empires rose and fell, from traditional Egypt to the Roman Empire. The territories of these empires shifted throughout time, and land was often claimed by brute power.
In the Age of Exploration, land ownership of America was claimed by written documents called Letters of Patent. These letters were granted to select eligible colonists by the monarchs firstly of Spain and later Great Britain.
Nowadays, it is almost impossible to find unclaimed land on Earth.
We are now living in the Era of space explorations, where the ownership of any land or resources in space is posing a big question.
According to Outer Space Treaty that went in effect in 1967 and was made by the UN General Assembly, nations cannot own property in outer space, nations cannot put nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction in outer space, and nations are responsible for any damage.
However, in 2015, the United States Congress passed the Spurring Private Aerospace Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship Act of 2015, or SPACE Act 3, which allows U. citizens to possess, own, transport, use and sell assets in space.
We took a fundamentally different approach to it. And we chose Mars for it.
Why Mars?
Mars is the first planet after Earth to be colonized by humans. It’s the most accessible place in the solar system. Mars is one of Earth’s closest near-habitable neighbors.
Mars is about half again as far from the Sun as Earth is, so it still has decent sunlight. It is a little cold. Its atmosphere is primarily CO2 with some nitrogen and argon and a few other trace elements, which means that we can grow plants on Mars just by compressing the atmosphere.
Gravity on Mars is about 38% of that of Earth, so you would be able to lift heavy things and bound around.
And most important, Mars doesn’t belong to any jurisdiction or government. It gives us a new chance to build and operate a completely new society that is settled on equality, freedom, and decentralization.
Mars Colony, the story
It’s the beginning of the Colony on Mars, and the first settlers just claimed 21,000 unique land plots. On 129 Sol, Mars’s communication systems with Earth went off abruptly, and over 40% of the robots went out of control.
It became apparent that it was the work of an AI who went rogue and planned to establish control over the Colony. Your role is to prevent AI from taking over the rest of the territory and help restore the peace.
Land in MarsColony
Owners of the land can upgrade and customize their territory to build base stations, power plants and other objects.
CLNY token
CLNY is a hybrid token that contains attributes of government and utility tokens. Token holders can use this token to take part in the decentralized governance, purchase land upgrades and perform other actions within the MarsColony metaverse. You can purchase CLNY tokens for ONE on SushiSwap.
400,000 WAX for a unique card of a reactor
Furthermore, this particular NFT doesn’t even make it into the top 50 NFT sales on the weekly basis. However, another NFT for Colonize Mars does. The Cargo Rocketship One sold on Tuesday for 488,890 WAX or $117,460.
These purchases seem to be a bit speculative, as gameplay for Colonize Mars is still a few months away. Right now players can acquire buildings and vehicles, but starting from September 2021 they can use those NFTs to acquire or mine Martia tokens. Next year the developers want to give players the ability to purchase undeveloped land and establish their own outputs on virtual Mars. Therefore, seeing the hype surrounding Alien Worlds and jumping early on the Colonize Mars hype train, could bring significant financial benefits.
Why so expensive?
Colonize Mars is an NFT trading card game where players need to collect vehicles and equipment for the first phase of their colony. Combining three common cards gives you an uncommon one. Three uncommon ones become a rare card, and the cycle continues to epic and finally legendary cards.
Ultimately players can merge three legendary cards into a super rare ownership card. However, these cards are one-of-a-kind and there are only 20 of those in the series. The Fission Reactor One that sold for $80,000 is such a card.
