We’ve established an outpost. Now we’re here to stay.
The four astronauts that arrived with Mission 2 have spent the last 780 Sols setting up and maintaining the initial colony infrastructure, ensuring the colony is ready for the arrival of the next mission.
In the Spring of 2022, Colonize Mars introduced new staking pools to their game. These pools allowed players to stake Martia tokens and receive some of the basic resources for the Mars colony. Since then, these pools have expanded to generate no less than sixteen different resources! But that system will be thrown out in July with a new economy. In addition, we’ll see sales for Mission Four NFTs open in July as well, with players purchasing cards from NFT pools.
Though it began as an idle clicking and staking game, Colonize Mars is ready to elevate its Mars settlement building game project to a new level. With complex, interconnected production chains, a gamified, cooperative building simulation, and new NFT pools that hold cards for purchase, the world of Mars will see some major shakeups and force players to adjust the way they play the game.

The Mission 3 Sale will happen in 2 parts:
- On December 20th, 2021, Mission 3 Supply Crate (NFT Packs) will be available exclusively for Martia Token for 1 hour via our in-game store.
- On December 21st, 2021, the remaining supply will be available for purchase on AtomicHub for WAX.
On December 20th, 2021, Mission 3 Supply Crate (NFT Packs) will be available for 1 hour via our in-game store. During this time, the Supply Crates can be purchased exclusively for Martia Token. We are excited to try this format for a few reasons:
Here is the Martia Token pricing information for the Supply Crates:

Mission 3 Supply Crates will be available for Martia Token in-game until the dutch auction closes or 50% of the maximum supply has been sold, whichever comes first.
On December 21st, 2021, the remaining supply will be available for purchase on AtomicHub for WAX. The price for these crates will be announced after the in-game store sale is closed. This will allow for newer players that haven’t earned Martia Token an opportunity to purchase Supply Crates.
Purchased Supply Crates will be available to unbox as soon as the sale is live. Mission 3 NFT Cards can be used in-game and for crafting as soon as they are unboxed.
Exclusive Mission Three Crafting Event
21 Ownership and Sponsorship Cards are reserved for an exclusive, limited-time crafting event. Certain Ownership, Sponsorship, Dark Matter, and Gold Cards from Mission 3 will only be obtainable through this event.
In order to participate, you must hold at least one of each of the seven different Dark Matter cards from Mission One. Combine these 7 cards on AtomicHub for 1 of 3 outcomes:
A Mission 3 ownership card.
7 Dark Matter cards, a combination of Mission 2 and Mission 3 items.
21 Gold cards, a combination of Mission 2 and Mission 3 items.
This is a limited event, and there will only be 2,571 crafting attempts available. You are guaranteed to get 1 of the 3 outcomes per attempt.
This crafting event will give us a better balance between item types across missions to support long-term gameplay.
Normal crafting will continue alongside this unique event. The normal crafting costs and probabilities remain the same as for Mission 2: 1% chance for critical success (two higher rarity NFTs), 79% chance for normal success (one higher rarity NFT), and 20% chance to fail which burns 1 of the cards and returns the others.
You might have noticed that only 41 of the 42 ownership cards have been accounted for. We’re planning something special for the last ownership card. More details coming soon 😉

New Resource Production Chain
The passive staking system was always meant to be temporary. And Colonize Mars is just about ready to implement a full-on production chain. Every NFT will have its own production values and a cost associated with producing the resources. For example, an Ice Mining Rig uses Power and produces Water. While Civil Engineers need Water, well-being, Food, and Oxygen in exchange for producing Construction Materials and Engineer Labor.
And with this new production chain comes the next phase of colony development. Players contribute Data to research pools, both to help the Colony but also in the hopes of receiving a payout in the form of Discovery NFTs. Cargo ships use Fuel to travel back to Earth and return with supplies. And building Colony structures requires many resources, with contributions from many players.

Colonize Mars NFT Pools
Mission Four cards don’t come in the standard crates. Instead, players buy cards from card pools. There are four pools in all, each with different odds for finding carious card rarities. All cards for Mission Four, including Ownership, Sponsorship, and the new ultra-rare Solar Flare cards, will come out of random draws from these pools. Players may purchase multiple cards at once, or one at a time. Cards are revealed as soon as they are bought. Purchases from the higher rarity pools will cost more, but we don’t know the final prices yet
As players buy cards from the pools, the price for cards increases. But then, once cards are added to the pool, the prices drop again. This creates a fluid pricing model to match the supply and demand for Colonize Mars NFTs. This also allows the team to simply drop new cards into the pool, rather than creating a new sale for each Mission.
Mission four is spaced out into four, separate drops, each with a different theme. Drop one is construction, drop two is infrastructure, three is geology, and four is security. Mission Four also introduces a new card rarity, Solar Flare. These are rarer than Dark Matter cards and carry more weight when harvesting resources. Mission Four NFTs should arrive in July.
What is Colonize Mars?

new Solar Flare rarity Greenhouse
Colonize Mars has already released three sets of cards, with a fourth mission expected soon. Mission Four crates will only be available in the game store, though they can be purchased with both WAX and Martia tokens. This set of cards sees the first, temporary settlement on Mars begin to expand to something more permanent.

In-game Store — Coming December 2021
The colony will continue to expand until it reaches a size where it can be self-sustaining. This will require new missions to land and deliver new NFT cards.

Martia Token will be useful in expanding players’ NFT collections. Mission Three supply crates will be purchasable exclusively for Martia Token. The supply crates will hold NFT cards which represent new buildings, astronauts, equipment, and vehicles to support the continued expansion of the colony.
More information for the Mission Three sale coming soon.
Hazards — Coming Early 2022
Hazards are events that disrupt normal operations on Mars.

Image for marketing purposes only. Gameplay might look different.
Dust storms roll in, volcanic activity and asteroid impacts send powerful Marsquakes rippling through the ground, and other randomized events befall the colony.
When affected by a hazard, Ownership Cards have a chance to be damaged, reducing payouts until repaired. Base Cards have a chance to be deactivated. Players need to go into the game to reactivate them, and depending on the severity of the hazard there might be a reactivation delay.
Spending Martia Token to repair damage speeds up the maintenance process and protects the colony’s valuable assets. Martia Token spent on repairs will be burnt.
Resources — Coming Early 2022
Each item type will have a role in the colony. Some of these roles will be to produce Resources.
For instance, an Ice Mining Rig consumes Power and produces Water. Since each item is unique in its inputs and outputs, it will encourage players to build specialized decks. A player that successfully manages their resources can see significant boosts in Martia Token earnings, XP, and more.
Additional Martia Token Uses
Players gain access to scarce quantities of vehicles, equipment, astronauts, and buildings by collecting Mars Cards™, a comprehensive collection of aerospace-themed NFTs designed exclusively for Colonize Mars.
Colonize Mars uses one main in-game token (MARTIA) and multiple resource tokens. MARTIA is earned through various gameplay activities, such as resource management, map exploration, and skill-based mini games. MARTIA tokens can be used to pay for a range of items in the Colonize Mars store, including Mars Cards™, upgrades, resources, and land plots. Resource tokens are earned by managing inputs and outputs of each item type in the game and can fluctuate in availability based on how efficiently players are operating equipment.
Who is the Founder of Colonize Mars?
Colonize Mars was founded in early 2021 by Hunter Stanchak. He started his career at Apple, helping launch products such as the Apple Watch, iPad Pro, and Apple Music as a creative engineer on Apple. com. Most recently, he was the creative director of global brand design at Magic Leap, an augmented reality company with $2. 6 billion in funding.
Hunter started Colonize Mars with the goal of designing a comprehensive Mars base using cutting-edge aerospace technology, accurate resource systems, and a visually compelling story. He hopes that this game will inspire new people to become explorers and pioneers of the final frontier by pursuing careers in the aerospace industry.
He is currently leading the design of the game, artwork, and story. Colonize Mars has grown to over 20 full-time team members from around the world, working on aspects of development, aerospace engineering, architecture, design, artwork, product, and marketing.

MARTIA launched as a WAX token in October 2021:
* The maximum supply was set at 12 billion MARTIA. * This was split into two sections:
* 10 billion minted ready for players to start earning. * 2 billion locked away for future development, unlocked and minted slowly over 2 years. * The 10 billion for the players is held in treas. mars and bank. mars, and transferred to martia on an hourly basis as it is earned, from which the players claim their earnings. * There are planned burning mechanisms which have intentionally reduced the supply, such as burning 10% of in-game store sales, and burning 100% of equipment repair costs.
View the top MARTIA holders. The key wallets are explained as below:
* treas. mars — initial wallet for token minting and holding until players have earned the token — balance will not be traded, not included in circulating supply
* bank. mars — secondary layer wallet for added security — tokens are transferred here before being earned by players — balance will not be traded, not included in circulating supply
* martia — this represents the amount of MARTIA token players have earned but not yet claimed — it belongs to the players and therefore is included in circulating supply
* team. mars — team development wallet that holds the unlocked portion of the 2 billion MARTIA future development pot — balance will be traded and is included in circulating supply
* colonizemars — company wallet that holds the proceeds from MARTIA based NFT sales — balance will be traded, included in circulating supply

О площадке Colonize Mars
Dark Matter (легендарный). Ownership (в одном экземпляре).
Martia Token — это внутриигровой токен, который управляет марсианской экономикой. Заработайте его, активировав карты и получив победу над противником.
