As announced at DC FanDome, publisher DC comics has now launched its collection of NFTs, a significant step for both the legendary publisher and the NFT industry. DC Comics has partnered with Palm NFT Studio, a company specializing in introducing projects and platforms to the Palm ecosystem, supporting and collaborating with artists, creatives, rights holders, and marketplaces. But what is this collection all about? If you are a DC Comic books fan but are not familiar with this new digital industry, you probably didn’t know about its existence. Here we will explain it to you.

DC Comics, the renowned American comic book publisher and the flagship unit of DC Entertainment, a subsidiary of Warner Bros, which itself is a subsidiary of WarnerMedia, announced the Bat Cowl NFT collection.

The Bat Cowl Collection, created in collaboration with DC, Palm NFT Studio, and Daz3D, contains 200,000 NFTs, representing 100 unique traits and +2BN combinations.

Featuring unique traits and identities, NFTs in the Bat Cowl Collection reflect the variety of Batman stories.

Bat Cowl NFT Collection represents a first-of-its-kind experience: a substantial 3D art collection combined with unparalleled utility for DC fans, with new features added every two months over a 2-year roadmap.

NFTs available at nft. dcuniverse. com are minted on the Palm network. The Palm network is a new token-powered ecosystem for NFTs, which is connected to Ethereum, and features low gas costs and fast transaction finality.

Holders of Bat Cowl in the DC NFT account will have an access pass to a new utility every 52 days.

Bat Cowl NFTs will be available for purchase starting April 26, 2022, while the reveal will take place in May 2022. After the reveal is complete, holders can choose when to unbox their NFTs and view the Bat Cowl NFT in their collection.

DC’s latest drop of NFTs includes the Batman The Bat Cowl Collection on Tuesday where owners of the DC FanDome NFTs will receive advance access.

The details include Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC, and Palm NFT Studio has announced the Bat Cowl Collection – an NFT drop at an epic scale, with 200,000 unique 3D-rendered Bat Cowl NFTs drawing influence from over 83 years of DC’s Batman.

Holders of NFTs from the Bat Cowl Collection will gain access to an unprecedented two-year journey with new features and upgrades being announced every 52 days, pushing what’s possible with web3 experiences and engaging fans more than ever, with their favorite Caped Crusader.

Owners of DC FanDome NFTs will receive advance access to the Bat Cowl pre-sale, bringing fans into the DC Batman Universe.

Pre-sale will start on Tuesay, April 26th at 12 am Pacific with public sale beginning Wednesday, April 27th at 12 am Pacific. Every DC FanDome 2021 NFT also doubles as a disc, and soon these storage devices will get a system update from the Batcomputer.

Collect your cowl. Create your legacy. Bat Cowl holders will be able to vote on key elements of a future DC Batman Comic including storyline, characters, and art.

To celebrate DC FanDome 2021, DC’s’ free global online fan event, DC is dropping a historic collection of NFTs created sustainably on Palm. Fans will have the opportunity to claim one of fifteen different collectibles, spanning 50 years of iconic comic book cover art.

In order to provide its fans with a hassle-free NFT experience, DC has partnered with Palm NFT studio and Daz 3D for their project. The studio claims to facilitate the NFT sale process with a low gas cost and fast transaction facility. Although Bat Cowl tokens are the first official Batman NFTs, they are not the first non-fungible tokens from DC. Last year, the company unveiled its first spinning floppy disk NFTs that were given for free to all the fans who signed up for the DC Fandom event, and recently DC launched trading card NFTs in association with Hro. Moreover, DC’s parent company WarnerMedia is already making big leaps in the NFT space with the music and movie-related NFTs from its other subsidiaries, Warner Bros. and Warner Music Group. What does the arrival of Batman in the NFT world mean?

According to DC, the Bat Cowl collection is much more than just digital collectibles. The company is planning to integrate the NFTs into the future DC comics stories and “aiming to expand utility for Bat Cowl holders every 52 days in areas such as augmented reality, metaverse integration, and expanded wallet capabilities. ” Moreover, the bat NFTs will enable fans to participate in the DC universe with their unique identities and earn rewards. Buyers will also get access to the DC Universe fan forum, a private online space where fans can explore physical collectibles, behind-the-scenes content, merchandise, and selected fan events. DC Comics Enters the Blockchain Technology

The DC Comics NFTs collection includes superheroes such as Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman and characters like Harley Quinn. Palm NFT Studios offered the possibility of collecting comic book covers according to their rarity level. These NFTs range between different issues of each characters’ comic book cover.
