Lucien Smith will launch his first NFT project in a new series of 10,000 digital artworks, titled SEEDS. The series takes its name from the eponymous seed packets that are widely available at home department stores. The New York-based artist and filmmaker has imbued each with over 40 possible traits, including color palette, seed type, and more. While every SEED is one of a kind based on its combination of traits, some are rarer than others. Multitalented artist Lucien Smith is breaking into the NFT ecosystem. Having been named “the art world wunderkind” by the New York Times, the LA-based creative is set to drop his first NFT collection, SEEDS. According to Smith and the Lobus team, SEEDS is a project several years in the making. Originally conceived via watercolors and guided by the polymorphism of flowers, Smith says the growing NFT and digital art ecosystem was the catalyst behind his first collection. As Director of Cultural Innovation at Lobus, Smith has leveraged the power of his platform to ensure that SEEDS isn’t your usual garden variety PFP collection (pun intended). The primary objective of the project, according to the team, is to unify the world and create a healthier future for all. As such, Smith has sewn a philanthropic mission into the fabric of the SEEDS project. A portion of the sale of each SEEDS NFT will go to support Serving the People, a platform formed by Smith and dedicated to cultivating emerging artists and creators. In the last 30 days, the cheapest Serving the People’s Seeds NFT sales were below $77, and the highest sales were for over $234. The median price for a Serving the People’s Seeds NFT was $99

As Seedify, we have gone through a tier system change in the past, where we upgraded our 3 tier system to a 9 tier system where all tiers were guaranteed.

The initial version of the 9 tier system consisted of a system where it was based on guaranteed allocations for all tiers with a pool weight formula, where going to the next bigger tier also gave high pool weight bonuses.

While the first version of the 9 tier system created a more fair system compared to the old 3 tier system, it still created some problems, especially after the amount of participants who wanted to join IGOs increased drastically.

Another feedback we got commonly, was that the bonus pool weight structures were too drastic.

To solve these two problems for the next IGOs we will be adopting lottery based allocations for the lowest tier which is tier 1, as well as updating the pool weight formula to the one below, and giving a chance to the lowest tiers to become guaranteed by second phase option:

Increasing tiers also come in added value benefits still in the form of:

Seed club: for the tier 9 to participate in seed rounds (and if there is still allocation left, to be proposed to other high bracket tiers)

Since the above benefits + some bonus weights already create added value for higher tiers, reupdating the pool weight formula to a more balanced way made more sense to make the system more distributed and fair, so more people can get the chance to get benefits from IGOs. Still the skin in the game approach is intact, but not in a way that causes much unbalance.

Each Seed NFT looks like a seed packet that one might find in a hardware store, with a kind of screen-printed, Warhol-esque aesthetic inspired by a recent suite of paintings that Smith exhibited in an exhibition titled Secret Garden at Over the Influence gallery in Hong Kong. Seedify has an allocation system where your buy size according to your bracket is devoted to you fully in the first phase within a certain time-frame.

As you see from the Tier system the amount of Gen-0 NFTs can be anything from 7,500 to 30,000, depending on owner activity. If you want to make sure you end up in Tier 1, you will need to use the maximum DFL for watering and lose only 48 hours in 30 days. After the Seeds are distributed, they will be tradeable on secondary markets, including Magic Eden and Solanart. We are also developing our own in-game marketplace, which will allow you to use the DFL token to buy and sell our NFTs as well as in-game resources. Using the secondary marketplaces, you will have the option to trade for the NFT that matches your favorite minigame or collect them all!

Each NFT will have 3+ attributes that provide a distinct advantage in its respective minigame. The fishing rod consists of four components: the body, the reel, the float and the hook. Each component will have a straightforward leveling system that correlates with the rarity. Let’s start with the utility of each component:

• The body = the number of uses before the rod has worn out and needs to be repaired. The fishing rod can be repaired on your crafting table for a small cost of $DFL.
• The reel = the difficulty of the fishing game. A better reel will slow down the fishing game mechanics, so it is easier for you to hit the “blue” and boost your chances of catching a heavier fish.
• The float= the start of the fishing game. A better float will start the fishing action faster, giving you the ability to catch fish with less effort.

Each component will be available in several rarities: common, ordinary, rare, unique, and legendary. These different rarities will determine level-up mechanics for your equipment and its components. The leveling system goes from 0 to 100. NFTs of all rarities have the ability to level-up their components over time, but it will be capped at a certain level for each rarity. Let’s break this down (UPDATED) :

These levels directly correlate to the advantages given by each component. For example, a Level 20 common body will give you the ability to fish 20 times before you need to repair it. A Level 100 hook gives you the maximum probability of catching a rare fish each time. As you can see, a higher level will give you the greatest efficiency at earning income in the DeFi Land P2E minigames.

What Is Project SEED?

Project SEED was founded by ex-Binance trio Liko Subakti, Mohammed Elelu-Bashir and Dinh Thi Thao Trang, along with technical experts Alex Setiawan and Baskoro Hadi. Project SEED began in Q2 of 2021, and its official website was launched in the first week of November. With rich experience, the Project SEED team has developed several high-profile games including Final Fantasy, Street Fighter and Call of Duty.

Project SEED aims to make metaverse mainstream to mobile gaming, with economy, community and governance as its three main pillars.

What Is the Shill Token (SHILL)?

The utility of SHILL within the games developed by Project SEED is pure brilliance. The first game announced by Project SEED, Outland Odyssey, is a role-playing action game in which players fight to uncover the truth about Keepers of Existence and other mythical creatures, who have the power to protect their world from extinction. Accompanied by beast-like creatures called Zeds, players embark on a quest to clear levels in the game.

As with any other P2E system, you can earn SHILL for playing the game. The distribution of these tokens will be based on proof of play. Along with earning an annual percentage yield (APY), players who stake their SHILL are entitled to receive a limited NFT drop every season.

Player governance is central to Project SEED’s ecosystem. Based on the number of tokens they hold, SHILL holders can propose ideas and vote according to their preferences. Project SEED will be the world’s first decentralized mobile gaming app that lets its community determine game advancements, instead of having a centralized group of developers do so. The SHILL token will play a crucial role in this revolution.

How Does Project SEED Work?

With a mission to revolutionize mobile gaming, Project SEED is taking a significant first step with the launch of Outland Odyssey.

In Outland Odyssey, you can journey to find Zeds. Apart from taming them and making them a part of your adventure, there’s also the option of defeating them, which gives you loot items that can be used to craft different weapons and armors. The availability of loot drops and Zeds will be determined by how many SHILL tokens you’re willing to stake.

There’s also a multiplayer mode, with a maximum of three other players. In this mode, you’ll unlock special quests where you and your team will play together to fight and defeat bigger and stronger Zeds. In addition, you can enter tournaments to defeat other players and show off the armors, weapons and Zeds you’ve acquired. You can enter these tournaments alone or with a team, and winners receive SHILL tokens as prizes.

Key Features of Project SEED

The project has a concrete plan to integrate their games with different game economies in Project SEED’s ecosystem and game tokens like SHILL. With these tokens, DeFi activities such as staking and lending can be conducted, enhancing players’ in-game experience.

NFT Marketplace

Project SEED’s NFT marketplace allows you to create your own NFTs. You can keep a fixed supply of the NFTs you create, and trade on the game’s NFT marketplace, either buying/selling your NFTs or loaning them to others.

DeFi & DEX

#2: Purchase USDT

Once your account is verified, you can start buying any cryptocurrency available on the Bybit exchange, which includes using the Spot Market to purchase SHILL.
