Diesel is expanding its metaverse endeavors with the launch of its new D:VERSE NFT collection.
D:VERSE is a new platform that includes unique NFT versions of runway collection garments, in addition to physical pieces, sneakers and accessories. D:VERSE NFT holders will also have access to a private Discord channel and D:VERSE-KEY, which grants exclusive rights to discounted NFT pre-sales, raffles, metaverse wearables and more.
To mark the platform’s launch, the first NFT release will feature pieces from Diesel’s FW22 runway show from this past February. The pieces include a fur jacket, a puffer jacket, a pair of sneakers and an accessory that will all be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Rodman partnered with Jeff Hood and Sophie Watts of NFT studio Metacurio to create a series of 5,000+ NFTs honoring Rodman’s proclivity for sporting bright-colored hairstyles. The premier collection will feature illustrated silhouettes of Rodman with varying hair colors and styles, mimicking his own signature game-day looks over the years.
“We wanted to immortalize Dennis’ fashion sense, style, and bravado and give fans and collectors an opportunity to own one of the many hairstyles that have made Dennis a global icon,” said Hood of the collection.

Today, Eckhaus Latta announced its inaugural NFT collection. In celebration of the brand’s 10-year anniversary, the new NFT endeavor is in partnership with social impact cryptocurrency, Ponyo Impact.
Titled “EL10,” the collectible NFTs feature 3D renderings of 10 Eckhaus Latta looks from the brand’s decade-long history. The 10 looks have been illustrated by Seoul-based artist Leeseongil and feature a range of skin tones, hairstyles, eye colors and more. The rare NFTs are set on dreamy landscapes created by New York-based photographer, KangHee Kim. Additional NFTs will feature the vibrant looks and accompanying avatars over a range of 100 different colored backgrounds.
“It was a funny process for Zoe and I to reflect upon the past 10 years and the 20 collections that subsist of that,” said Eckhaus Latta co-founder and designer, Mike Eckhaus. “So for us, it was trying to figure out pieces and looks that felt important to us on a personal level and what felt also Eckhaus Latta. It was an interesting editing process and thinking of how to have it be a mix of different things that we have explored over the past 10 years within our collections.”

Online marketplace eBay began permitting the sale of NFTs around May of last year in a move to bring on a new wave of creators, buyers and sellers onto its platform. A year later, the company has now announced that it will be launching 13 limited-edition digital collectibles in collaboration with Web3 platform OneOf as its first-ever NFT collection. eBay’s debut collection is a collaboration between Sports Illustrated and NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, featuring animated 3D renderings of Gretzky as a digital action figure. The collectibles retail at $10 USD for the basic green rarity and ranges up to $1,500 USD for the diamond tier NFTs.
“You don’t have to be a crypto expert to buy, sell, and collect NFTs. OneOf and eBay are bringing transformative Web3 technology to the next 100M non-crypto-native mass consumers,” OneOf CEO Lin Dai added.

It seems that the rapper already has a built-in audience for his new venture into digital collectibles. Earlier today, Cordae debuted his first NFT collection titled “IDENTITY,” a collaboration with designer Shaylin Wallace. Last week’s pre-sale of the surrealist series, which took place exclusively on NFT marketplace OneOf, sold out in less than a minute.
The “Bad Idea” rapper was already a fan of Wallace, who is known for her work manipulating stock images using Photoshop to transform them into fresh compositions. “Shay is an incredible artist,” he said. “I try to only work with other artists, if that makes sense.”
Together, the two creatives conceptualized a series of graphic pop-art inspired by the rapper’s personal style, with each NFT featuring a faceless rendering of Cordae in a different outfit. One artwork outlines Cordae’s iconic twists – a hairstyle he’s maintained since his early rap days in 2018 – and a pair of overalls. In another, he sports an ‘80s-style windbreaker, his face replaced by a retro boombox.
“A lot of these NFTs are based upon my earlier style, around The Lost Boy era,” Cordae explained, referencing his 2019 debut album. “Like the OG hair colors and the things I used to wear, like vests all of the time.”
He sums up his present-day style as “real jacket-based,” which is also reflected throughout the NFT collection. “I love a hoodie-jacket combination or a good Harrington jacket.”
“I’m not one of these people that’s trying to just come in and, you know, bleed out the community,” Cordae said. “The NFT space has its own ecosystem, its own community. To be a part of that is something that’s huge for me. To just enter into space with open arms.”
Moving forward, Cordae continues to envision the potential of further integrating NFTs into his craft. Artists like Deadmau5 and Grimes have released new music in the form of NFTs, an idea that Cordae said he’s “definitely open to” down the line. “There are so many different aspects and possibilities in NFT space that are really exciting.”
“I’m going to work on learning more to integrate myself within the community in a real organic way and to continue to build upon this,” he concluded.
