  SAM — Born in Antik and being a human, he is physically stronger than Helios. He can wield larger weapons, use various tools, and basically do all the heavy lifting. However, he cannot wield magic or teleport like Helios.

Record Breaking Play and Own Game

Что такое Aurory (AURY)?

Game Economics & Engagement Model

• Aurory’s economic system is carefully and insightfully designed so that it connects all in-game activity. The game will take a portion of income generated by in-game activities as revenue for the development team; the rest will be put in the treasury as a reserve to reward users through gaming activities.

• Aurory’s ecosystem uses an innovative “main token with an in-game sub-currency (OKA and TOKE) balancing system” instead of the common two-token design found in other P2E games in which the token for game currency and rewards is inflationary and the limited supply token is for governance.
• In their most basic form, these sub-currencies behave as an accounting mechanism that allows the distribution of revenues generated by F2P players and invested players can only be found in-game (not as SPL tokens). At the end of each week, both are exchanged for a corresponding amount of $AURY.

💡 This strategy allows developers to tailor the game experience to make it balanced based on the engagement of both F2P and Invested players (time and money), regardless of whether they want to play the game for fun as well as more serious players.

The more players invest in Aurory, the more they should be rewarded. But eventually, all players will become Invested Players as they interact more with the game by staking $AURY.

• Ideally, in the above model, the flow of $AURY is greater than or equal to the flow needed to create a strong economy. As shown above, $AURY has quite a few use cases and is necessary in all game operations, which may result in a balance between Inflow and Outflow as the gameplay is attractive.
• By contrast, the most inflationary assets in the game are Eggs and Nefties. It is expected that, given the initial player base, this will not be an issue anytime soon. However, an inflationary level will eventually be reached when the supply of these assets outpace their demand. This is where the Deflationary Mechanism kicks in.

• The Aurorian NFT was definitely a successful marketing campaign for the project. 10,000 unique Aurorians NFTs were minted and sold out in 3 seconds. This indicates that Aurory is peaking retail interest even before the game is released. This is a huge feat for an NFT project that has been in development for such a short time, especially outside of the Ethereum ecosystem (Aurory is built on Solana).
• Among other perks, these 10,000 oldest Aurorians will allow you to unlock early game access. With over 44k people already waiting on Discord and over 189k Twitter followers as of writing, it is not hard to see these characters will become highly coveted ahead of the game’s official alpha.
• Although it has been approximately 1 year since IDO and the game has just released the PvP Alpha battle mode recently, the project has not stopped updating the community on their progress, the latest images of the game, events like Nefty design contest or battle mode guide for the Alpha, and answering questions in Discord. These are all positive signs that show that they are building and promising to bring out the best quality product for their community of players.

Nefty Skills

Each Nefty will have three types of skills:

• A basic physical attack skill.
• Three randomly picked skills from a pool unique to its species.
• One “Ultimate” skill unique to its species.

💡 While Nefties with top attributes might give players an edge in duels, the game design ensures that skill and strategy will be the deciding factors in winning battles. In addition, the game also contains some interesting burning mechanisms in the Heroes dungeon — the highest difficulty where the losing nefties actually get burned, as well as in the creation of new rare items.

What Is The Aurory Game About?

Set in two futuristic worlds called Antik and Cryptos, Aurory is a fantasy action play-to-earn Japanese role-playing game. This enchanting PvE game introduces you to magical creatures called Nefties. Soon, the game will adopt PvP, and players will build teams of Nefties to do battle.

Each Nefties species has a unique set of skills and abilities, giving it multiple strategic roles in combat. They range from strength to team support, defence, sabotage and more. Importantly, this allows you to choose the best Nefties for each battle in-game.

The game draws on inspiration from League of Legends, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, and others. It will offer rewarding gameplay and enormous strategic freedom.

Notably, this gives Aurory the financial might to become a market leader. It is on track to become one of Solana’s first Triple A-rated games. The team is full of talent. Many have experience working with big AAA companies like Ubisoft & EA. They have already shown they can build systems on Solana through content and demonstrations.

Meanwhile, the story-driven, single-player (PvE) game mode is an excellent way of training you for the PvP mode. It will allow you to gather resources and learn the game. This training will prepare you for battle in the PvP mode in the long run. However, different game modes are available in Aurory’s mode, including friendly fights and ranked contests.

Multiplayer modes, fight for you s(t)ake !

We will (at first) introduce two multiplayer game modes.

Discovering the basis of Decentralized Finance through Gaming

People will be able to stake the tokens they won on the platform in order to win additional tokens, but also they will be able to stake the NFTs cards they earned by defeating monsters in order to win in-game skins, unique and legendary cards, power-ups. All the items you win by staking NFTs will be usable in fights against other players but also will be tradable in our marketplace.

Player versus player mode

We also want to enable a PvP (player versus player) mode, gamers will challenge each other in a mode where they choose five of their items and cards to fight in a contest. In order to start a contest, you have to pay an amount of tokens. After that, all the creatures will start fighting based on their specificities and the winner will reclaim all the tokens paid to start the battle.

A leaderboard rewarding people who played the most and who won the most with incentives as mythic items and tokens giveaway will also be updated on a weekly and monthly basis to incentive people playing.

Helios and the solo game mode

Every monster or creature coming in your way that you defeat will be earned as an NFT (Non Fungible Token) in your wallet. Those NFTs cards will be the core of our multiplayer modes, and will allow you to compete against other players or to gain additional items.

Furthermore, each time you complete a quest, you gain some tokens that will be usable to play multiplayer games, or to buy items in our marketplace.

Game Assets & NFTs

While playing the game Aurory, you will have the opportunity to acquire assets that have monetary value and can be exchanged in the market.

On August 31st, 10,000 unique Aurorians NFTs were minted and sold out in 3 seconds at the price of 1 $SOL (currently trading at a floor price of around 40 $SOL on Magic Eden and Solanart as of June 24th, 2022).

💡 The Aurorian NFT provides a way for players to pledge and signal their early support for the game, much like a Kickstarter producer credit. In return, Aurorian owners get exclusive perks, such as access to private alphas and betas of future game modes. Aurory has a plan for these NFTs to act as 3D evolvable models in future versions of the game.

These NFTs can also be used as collateral to borrow liquidity on Serum DEX. The team also plans to have farming and staking options for the AURY token.

The Aurory Platform

We are thrilled to finally be able to talk about our project and what we are building. Aurory will be a gaming platform based on the play to earn mechanism. We strongly believe that this is the path for the future of gaming, flowing from pay to play, free to play and finally landing where we are heading, playing to earn.

Aurory will use a SPL token as a core of our gaming ecosystem. Usable in our solo and multiplayer modes but also in our marketplace, we want to create a real utility in these games but also in the future games to come.

Gameplay

Aurory will use a turn-based combat system in which two teams fight using three Nefties per team for PvP or 3 vs many for PvE, always on a battleground grid. The goal is to knock out all the Nefties from your opponent’s team.

• In PvE, players will use Helios and Sam as the main heroes, with the primary goal of recruiting Nefties to join in the mission of fighting the evil and deceitful forces that are destroying the Antik world.

• In PvP, players will engage in ranked tournaments and friendly duels with other Nefty trainers worldwide. Duels are between two teams and include a draft system which enables players to predict their opponents’ next move and react on time to enhance their chances of winning.

💡 Having enough content is crucial to the success of any role-playing game. Aurory has a unique and ambitious plan to regularly release new content in the form of seasons. The narrative will develop across several seasons, each with new adventures that unlock new regions, bosses, and valuable rewards. This is a core part of the Aurory team’s long-term plan, and they have already planned for seven seasons.

• Every season, players will receive a “Base package” for free, allowing them to get to know more about the Aurory Universe. The end of each season concludes with a World Championship Event where the best players compete for epic prizes!

Players will perform quests given by NPCs, which will progress the storyline and immerse them in the world of Aurory. There are 3 main areas:

• HUB: An interactive “menu” area that allows players to select which dungeons or landmark they would like to visit.

• POINTS OF INTEREST: Players’ personal taverns or homes. Players can pick up quests or modify their Nefties/Power Stones here.

• VILLAGES: Here’s where to connect with other players, or just chill and hang out. There will also be multiple NPCs offering quests and side-quests in these areas.
